Charles Rogers Named New Director of Star University’s Center for World Religion
Tulsa, Ok-Star University is please to announce Dr. Charles Rogers, has been selected to lead the new Star University Center for World Missions as director, effective January 1, 2017. Rogers brings a wealth of experience to the position having served on the Executive Board of World Ministry Fellowship, the International Missions Director of World Ministry Fellowship and as Executive Director of World Ministry Fellowship.
"As a minister, missionary, colleague, administrator, and forward-looking leader, Dr. Rogers is extraordinarily well suited to be the Center for World Mission’s director," said Dr. Brown, president. "He has a long history of collaboration on mission projects and education both within the United States and across Western and Central Africa, he is the right person for this leadership role at Star University."
Center for World Missions
The mission of the Center for World Missions is to assist in providing the resources needed to individuals and organizations in various countries around the world in propagating the Gospel of Christ and making spirit-empowered disciples to serve in His Kingdom.
The Center will serve as the focal point of practical service to the various constituents the university serves around the world and furnish opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and others to provide necessary resources to communities around the globe in helping them fulfill the Great Commission.
