Tribal Governance & Administration
Entrepreneurship
The Tribal Governance and Administration Bachelors of Arts program focus on structures, processes, and issues specific to tribal governments and tribal operations in North America. Coursework provides the knowledge and skills needed to work successfully within Tribal organizations and tribal governments.
The program is structured to reflects the diversity of issues addressed by the tribes, including language, health, natural and cultural resources, education, federal Indian law, strategic planning, human resources, and economic development. This program is the very essence of 21st-century tribal education. Students have access to mentors roundtables, and peers from within Indian country, all with successful leadership experience in a virtual classroom.
The Bachelor of Arts in Business Entrepreneurship degree program is the epicenter of activity at Star U. The program is custom tailored to fit the needs of the economic region and the curriculum is geared toward local and global needs. We encourage students to come with ideas to launch a new business or learn how to take an existing business to the next level. The program is structured to help students create and implement a business plan while in the program. This program is the very essence of global education and students have access to mentors, roundtables, and peers from around world, all with successful entrepreneurial experience.
Agricultural Business
The Bachelor of Arts in Agricultural Business degree program prepares students for careers in the world's growing agribusiness sector which provides products and services for the production, processing, and distribution of food and fiber. With an ever-growing global market and potential for expanded export opportunities, the need for graduates to fill agribusiness positions is increasing. With close ties to the Business Entrepreneurship degree program, the coursework in the Agricultural Business program emphasizes the understanding of the unique organizational and managerial challenges facing large and small agribusiness companies. Students integrate business management principles with technical knowledge to develop practical decision-making skills for a regional and global marketplace.
Christian Ministry
The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry degree program is available to students wishing to pursue a calling into Christian ministerial service. Students learn in-depth about the Old and New Testament books of the Bible. In addition, graduates of the program have attained knowledge and understanding of the foundation of Christian ministry, the Biblical principles of evangelism and discipleship applied in 21st-century settings, how music and media are powerful tools of ministry, and the practical aspects of ministry including church administration and basic accounting.
